Spread 002 — uNITY GRID

UNITY GRID, 2022–2025 Ballpoint ink & digital layering

Each remains itself while simultaneously participating within a greater whole. The many are perceptible inside the One.

If Spread 001, Ouí, depicts UNITY as an action, Spread 002, Unity Grid, depicts UNITY as a state. In Ouí, feminine & masculine creative frequencies move towards complete union, merging into the androgynous condition of GOD — the Absolute Creative Source. UNITY is enacted through the Human Body as a movement into Oneness.

Within that union, Ouí also gives rise to the UNITY Symbol / UNIRE. Formed through the togetherness of its mirrored bodies, the upside-down heart geometry distils their Oneness into a single symbol: UNITY — the GOD field. The Unity Grid enters that field. It presents the state of Oneness once entered: an eternal, negentropic, self-regenerative field in which individuality & sovereignty remain fully alive while simultaneously participating within the Whole. UNITY is therefore neither sameness nor dissolution. It is a paradisiac condition in which the many sustain their unicity while existing in complete relationship with the One.

The reader turns from Ouí & enters this field. Countless lines curl, branch, mirror, repeat & proliferate; small forms gather into larger structures; vines become architecture; individual motifs remain visible inside one total presence. From afar, the Grid is perceived as a singular field. Up close, that singularity reveals innumerable figures, marks, loops, pathways & relationships. Each remains itself while simultaneously participating within a greater whole. The many are perceptible inside the One. This principle sits at the centre of C.OG’s understanding of UNITY. UNITY = GOD. UNITY encourages unicity.

The work therefore does more than symbolise UNITY. Its construction allows UNITY to become perceptual. The paradisiac state is carried through the structure of the image itself: individuality, integration, blending, rhythm, proliferation & continuous regeneration all occurring at once.

The visual language through which this state emerged had been forming across an intensely illustrative period within C.OG. In Chios (Χίος), Greece, Siddi lived closely enough with the island to absorb its visual rhythms intimately: mastic trees dividing into immense branching architectures while remaining one organism; figs opening into patterned interiors; flowers, forest, stone, mountains, sea & stars gathering into fields of repetition, variation & abundance. Drawing became continuous. Some illustrations later entered C.OG; others remained experiments, gifts or works belonging specifically to that period. Their significance was generative: Chios established a period of visual abundance that continued after her return to Oradea.

During a period of grief & concentrated immersion in C.OG, this visual abundance continued through drawing, photography, memory, writing & symbol. Another artistic encounter entered the developing language through Gustav Klimt. At the Belvedere in Vienna, Siddi encountered both Klimt’s paintings & the surrounding gardens. She had long been drawn to the romance, care, sensuality, fluidity & decorative abundance of his work; here, ornament, body, atmosphere & living growth seemed to belong to the same visual world. The gardens echoed this through flowers, vines & organised vegetal forms whose repetitions resembled the floral embroideries already appearing through her own hand.

These influences condensed into Soulfull Tapestry, drawn in exceptionally fine burgundy ballpoint ink through interwoven vines, curls & organic formations. When the drawing entered Photoshop, another capacity opened. It was mirrored, repeated, layered, recoloured, recombined & multiplied. Small structures expanded into larger symmetrical formations. Organic irregularity met digital organisation. A central axis emerged. Vines became architecture. Repetition generated rhythm. Layers accumulated into density. Around June 2023, the Unity Grid began to emerge.

Its visual genealogy later became clearer as Siddi recognised correspondences between her own linework & Persian visual traditions: twirling vines, intricate surfaces, repeating motifs, geometry & patterns whose movement appears capable of continuing infinitely beyond the edge of an image. Tracing these correspondences also became a way of tracing part of her Persian roots, connecting an intuitive visual language to older relationships between ornament, cosmology, infinity & communication.

Within Siddi’s spiritual cosmology, this line work also operates as light work. Light language describes energetic information capable of communicating through different forms; within the Unity Grid, that communication becomes visual. The mark carries information before conventional language explains it. Rhythm, colour, geometry, repetition & form become communication through perception itself. Persian ornamental traditions particularly resonate with this understanding: pattern becomes something closer to energetic writing, an organisation of frequency through visual form.

The Grid can therefore be encountered simultaneously as illustration, ornamental system, visual communication & frequency encryption. Within the same cosmology, Human Beings are understood as beings of stellar origin, carrying forms of memory extending beyond the immediately material biography. The Unity Grid becomes a visual transmitter of the frequency it depicts: UNITY.

Its spiritual function is inseparable from its biological interface. Within Siddi’s understanding of the Human Being, the nervous system is the interface through which physical, emotional, mental & energetic experience communicate. Because Unity Grid is visual, the eyes become its principal entrances. Light reaches the retina, visual information becomes neural activity, & the nervous system organises colour, symmetry, rhythm, repetition, contrast, density, form & relationship into experience.

Neuroaesthetically, the Grid keeps perception moving between recognising order & discovering further complexity. Symmetry & repetition allow the nervous system to recognise relationships across the image, while density & organic variation prevent the field from resolving into a single, exhausted reading. The eye repeatedly apprehends the whole, enters its detail, & returns to the whole carrying new information. The act of seeing therefore mirrors the Grid’s central proposition: the many remain continuously perceptible inside the One.

Looking therefore becomes participatory. The field reveals different relationships according to where attention settles, how long it remains & from what distance the work is encountered. The Grid was conceived to stay within the viewer’s visual environment rather than exist only as a passing image. Its original instruction was simple: Place it within your gaze — digital or printed. Let the pattern breathe with you.

The work was described as a visual transmitter: a layered imprint carrying structure, memory & calm, intended to activate inner clarity, deepen presence & anchor wholeness. This leads to two propositions central to its function: Unity Grid is recognition technology. UNITY is the state of remembrance.

Within C.OG, disconnection can be experienced as fragmentation. Trauma, distortion, fear & prolonged states of survival may organise different parts of the self around competing realities, pulling life force in opposing directions. Unity Grid presents another possibility: distinct parts existing in relationship inside one self-regenerative system. Its purpose is therefore to invoke & activate wholeness within oneself.

The Grid’s colour history carries this movement. Its early incarnation was predominantly burgundy, a colour already embedded in an earlier visual period of Siddi’s practice & associated within her colour cosmology with an entropic state: distortion, trauma, shadow, the underworld & the unintegrated self — a phantom or black-hole system in which life force is consumed through fragmentation. C.OG entered this underworld to encounter, reclaim & reintegrate the parts pulling the whole in opposing directions. In February 2024, the Grid shifted into aquamarine, belonging to another energetic system entirely. Preceded in Siddi’s spectrum by an opalescent starlight-white carrying golden reflexes, aquamarine belongs to a divine, negentropic, eternally self-regenerative field: Regeneration, Remembrance & ReConnection. The colour transition therefore carries the movement from fragmentation towards integration: reclaimed life force in renewed circulation through the Whole.

Creation here is continuous. It moves with the self, with fellow Human Beings, through community, with the living environment — all within Creative Source. Because UNITY is understood as an organising condition rather than an isolated personal achievement, its logic can extend across scales. As within, so without. A more peaceful inner world creates another basis for relationship outside the self. Self becomes relationship; relationship becomes community; community becomes civilisation.

Within this philosophy, Human Beings remember themselves as continually connected to Creative Source rather than organised around the belief that survival requires the depletion of another. Creation can emerge through connection rather than disconnection, abundance rather than poverty, reciprocity rather than domination.

This is where Unity Grid connects to Siddi’s wider vision of an Auroric Renaissance: a paradisiac future shaped through Human Beings remembering their regenerative nature & directing their creative power towards life. Negentropy becomes simultaneously spiritual, biological, relational, social & creative — a state in which life continually generates more life.

The relationship between C.OG’s first two spreads therefore becomes precise: Ouí depicts UNITY as an action; Unity Grid depicts UNITY as a state. Ouí enacts the movement into Oneness through the integration of polarity. Unity Grid reveals the living architecture of that Oneness through the integration of multiplicity.

This is why the Grid occupies the flyleaf, immediately after Ouí & before the body of C.OG begins. Before the journey moves through descent, confrontation, surrender, ReConnection & return, the paradisiac state already exists before the reader. The destination exists at the entrance. The reader encounters UNITY aesthetically before receiving the complete language through which it will later become understood. UNITY as remembrance therefore becomes structural to the book itself: C.OG progressively develops the conditions through which what was present from the beginning may be recognised again.

The artwork received the title Unity Grid during Siddi’s 2025 curation of C.OG & was publicly launched in July of that year. It later travelled beyond the book through the Unity Grid Drop & into the wider visual language of ASIDARTIS. As Artistic Technology became clearer, so did the function of the Grid: what had first emerged intuitively through drawing, spiritual inquiry, layering & experimentation could be recognised as a concentrated visual embodiment of a larger mechanism.

Unity Grid is Artistic Technology compressed into visual form — a frequency supplement one can take. Where Ouí performs the movement into UNITY, Unity Grid holds the viewer inside its state: the many alive inside the One, sovereignty sustained through integration, life force circulating through an eternal Creative Source & creation perpetually regenerating from the paradisiac condition of Oneness.
